The biblical texts were examined, with a detailed study of the verses related to the mental disorder that afflicted King David, the second and greatest king of Israel, who ruled more than 3525 years ago. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all evil. Most of the time, I'm in a physical or virtual community, and I work with clergy, mental health providers, veterans service organizations, military support personnel, or just regular people who care about me. The Bible is full of examples of people who showed symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other types of mental illness.

However, one thing you should know is that these Bible verses are meant to give you comfort and help you cope with the situation. The Bible may not say much directly about mental illness, but there are many Bible verses that provide comfort to those struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and more. When someone has a mental breakdown, the stress is too great for them to be unable to do their daily activities. Elijah's depression, along with many of the other biblical characters mentioned above, lets us know that being committed to God does not exclude us from depression.

Anyone who has problems with any of the problems mentioned above can suffer a mental crisis if this causes stress and the stress becomes unbearable for them. Between 10 and 15 percent of teens have problems with symptoms of depression, while one in five adults has a major mental illness. Although its history in the Bible is short, with only 48 verses, it is one of the most influential books in all of Scripture. Although the Bible does not use the word “depression” except in certain translations and verses, it is often referred to with other similar words, such as “depressed”, “heartbroken”, “worried”, “miserable”, “desperate” and “in mourning”, among others.

Well, the Bible doesn't exactly mention mental health and mental breakdown, but it does mention most of the underlying causes of mental crises.
